Martinus Miroto offered an informal demostration-talk on traditional Javanese court dance and its influence on his contemporary choreography.

Miroto came to New York to perform an excerpt of his solo piece Penumbra at the Lincoln Center, as part of the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Asian Cultural Council. At CAVE, Miroto presentedthe same excerpt of Penumbra followed by a discussion with this amazing dancer.
