At Home Series Maximilian Balduzzi

This season at Home Series offered an exciting way to be an active spectator by presenting the practice-work of Maximiliano Balduzzi.

LEIMAY guest-teacher Maximiliano Balduzzi offered a precise, rigorous, and passionate approach to training the body and voice. Based on essential principles of impulse, control, opposition and rhythm, the workshop engages participants through a series of exercises developed over the past fifteen years. The precision of the exercises and their range of dynamic qualities help bring density to the performer’s body, fostering lightness and the ability to be decided in-the-moment. This work was developed to train the presence of the actor, but it may be useful for other artists and for anyone who wants to find greater awareness through the body.
