LEIMAY PRESENTING SERIES SPRING 2018: OUTSIGHT
A work inspired by imagery from fairy tales collected by Franz Xaver Von Schonwerth as well as the childhood and daily life experiences of the artists.
As a duet for Zack Fuller, a former member of Min Tanaka’s Tokason Butoh Group, a dancer/choreographer/welder/visual artist Emily Smith, it presents two figures on a journey; undergoing a series of transformations that are alternately disturbing, poetic, funny, violent, and sentimental.
