LEIMAY PRESENTING SERIES 2018: SOAK
Often there is a schism between our online personas and real-life identities. Are we a mash up of the two? “@” is a dance with technology; one performer, two video feeds. The first: a mapped animation of colors, words, and images, blurring the lines of what is happening physically in the performance space. The other: a live video of the action on the stage, projected directly on the performer’s body evoking the echo chamber feel of social media and the Internet.
