ABOUT THE WORKSHOP “The workshop will be accessible to all bodies and levels of experience. This workshop would be focused around a practice called “Yang Sheng Gong” which roughly translates to mean- Nourishing Life Practice. Incorporating simple breath, movement and self massage techniques, we will offer participants some easily incorporated tools for physical and mental wellness. Following the Yang Sheng Gong we will lead the participants in some simple improvisational movement scores, to expand our approach of working with the body.”

Because aging is a central theme to the work, and because we are asking how we might all age with more grace, the work includes elder performers.

With my time in the studio through Leimay’s Incubator Program, I will push into the next iteration of movement … Continued
