Dance in Konpaku- fourth bend in the river
Monika Gross
LEIMAY PRESENTING SERIES 2010: FERMENT
Konpaku. A river. Two riverbanks. The far side for the world of the dead. The near side for the world of the living. Here the dead and the living come and go, very much at peace with themselves. This is a place that cannot be seen. This is a place that is not a place. This is the Now (here No w)hen. Here a fisher may be fished and a puppet animate the puppeteer.
Monika Gross is a theater artist working as a performer, writer, director and puppeteer.
