EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM 2013: LUDUS
In dance, the true self manifests itself concretely through our body as presence, physicality, and movement. In order to approach the expression of the true self, we prepare our state of mind and body to perceive the world directly. This Ludus Lab will focus on: physical training for awareness, strength, flexibility, body mechanics, sensitivity and concentration. Embodying the differences of texture, weight, transparency, element, color, lightness/darkness, and the temperature in the body and in the space. Active listening by distinguishing the density, current, pulse, and vibration of time and space. Not to move, but to be moved. Knowing the direction of the desire of dance. Shifting boundaries through placing ourselves outside of the space, and placing our desire in the space.
