EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM 2017: LUDUS

This afternoon with LEIMAY revolves around the words and concept of Frantic Beauty, which is the subject and name of LEIMAY’s new piece, premiering at BAM in 2017. The afternoon begins with a symposium of guests from different fields who discuss the many ways of interpreting the words “frantic beauty.” Following, LEIMAY will present a Performance Study for the piece. The afternoon will close with an additional Study, a solo choreographed by one of LEIMAY’s Ensemble members, Derek Di Martini. Afterwards, audience members are invited to share their impressions of the work in a round table format.
